ok, so i have right now veryyy dark brown hair, origonally dyed it a black brown on December 31.

well since its getting towards spring timer , i wanna dye it.

so right now my hair is dark brown, and im thinking of going to a professional and getting an all over color of a light brown, then getting veryyyyyy subtle highlights just a few shades lighter.

my hair is in healthy, good condition and i was wondering if i did this if the damage would be big??

i know it will damage my hair, but i wanna know if its gonna make it look straw dead or brittle?

also what do u recommend for using to deep condition and keeping my hair healthy after i dye it??

if you have dark brown/ black hair, you usually have to bleach it before you can dye it a light brown color, and bleaching your hair damages it.

I think it would look really nice on you, it would really brighten up your face and bring out your eyes.

I would make sure to get it done by a professional to avoid damage.

I recomend natural hair products, you can pick them up at the health food store. Conditioners with bioten are very good for hair.

But as far as a good deep conditioner goes, I like the Ion Moisturizing Treatment. You can buy it at Sally's. After you wash your hair, just towel dry it, saturate your hair with it and leave it in for as long as you'd like. I usually leave it in for about an hour or an hour and a half.

Why not just have the highlights done instead of coloring all of your hair plus highlights. It can get very dry and brittle after to much is done to it. Your hair looks very pretty and healthy the way it is now.

Kinda looks better but i advise against it i would do like a dark brown with caramel brown %26amp; auburn highlights

well first off you dont dye your hair lighter..

you can either call it lightening or bleaching.. %26amp; they will probably have to do a soap cap on your whole head to pull the color..

%26amp; I wouldnt plan on your hair being exactly how you want it but I m sure it'll turn out to look goo though..cause youre not ulgy

as far as your hair looking like straw..uhhh.. I d say it might be a little stringy who knows your hair might be porous already %26amp; pull easily .

%26amp; us any kind of deep conditioning I like Redken Butter Creme ...

Oh %26amp; you can also ..get Cholesterol put it all over your hair., put a little plastic throw away cap on your head %26amp; heat it up ..keep it warm for at least 15 min.but keep it on 30 ..rinse %26amp; that is also deep conditioning..but its going to make your hair heavy %26amp; ...you might just want to throw it on the ends your hair looks like it real fine

Try some highlights of a light red also....it will make it Snap!

Use Clairol Shampoo for color treated hair(and damaged hair). Try Clairols new "Nice'n Easy" Color seal weekly conditining gloss in the dark blue tube with silver lettering at a Superstore. It is a leave in and not rinse out.

Also you might like "Shine" it comes in a clear tube at a Beauty Supply store and is also a leave in conditioner.
