get it trimmed regularly (usually every 3 months) and use a deep conditioner once a week, also try not to do too much heat damage, blowdriers, straightners etc

well you can get your hair healthy by not damaging it a lot by not straightening it a lot or by not puttin all kinds of stuff on it like spray. you can go and buy this kinda of oily thing and it makes it shiny and healthy but i don kno wut its called. all you can do to make it grow is to go 2 the salon and get ur ends trimmed like once a month.

The key to healthy hair is a healthy body. Make sure you are getting plenty of protein (the hair is made up of a protein called Keratin, and so are the nails), and lots of water. If you are not getting enough vitamins from your food, then the special hair and nail vitamins on the market may be beneficial to you. Be aware that many physical illnesses can show themselves first in the hair, nails and skin. If you are experiencing dry brittle hair, hair that comes out easily, or soft nails that do not seem to grow you might want to have some bloodwork done to make sure your thyroid gland is functioning properly.

You need to figure out what works best for your hair type.

Some of the things that harm your hair include: excessive heat, brushing, split ends (get a good trim), coloring, overprocessing.

If you refrain from those things and give yourself a good deep conditioner at least once a month and shampoo once a week and condition wash at least 3-7 times a week to moisturize your hair. Use a good moisturizer, either wear it free flowing or in a protective style such as a bun to protect the ends.

I agree with the healty body - working out and healthy diet. However, I have always had strong, long nails and have had episodes of damaged hair. I do not think those go hand and hand.
