Dyeing your hair from black to blonde?

I had my hair done black with platinum blonde streaks a few months ago and now I want to go to all golden blonde. Does anyone know the best way to make my hair healthy and strong so it does not break off? Also, is there a way to help make my hair grow faster or become thicker?

First of all, since you are going from one extreme to the other, it's definitely important to realize that it will take more than ONE hair dye to give you your desired color. You probably have two options.

First, you could strip the color that is already on your hair, and go get it professionally done.

Second, you may choose to do it yourself. If you do this, you need to use a semi permanent brown dye first. After that, you should be able to redye it with the golden blonde tone that you chose.

Good luck getting Black out of your hair, it is the worst! I would recommend getting it professionally done because if you just try to bleach it out yourself you will probably fry your hair right off. Black color pigments are the smallest in size and bond to hair the longest and hardest.
