Any tips on moisturizing hair without over doing it?

I have long fine dry hair. Especially now that it's winter it's a dry mess. Any tips on good hair products to keep my hair healthy and static free? Because I have fine hair I don't want to weigh it down. But I haven't found that "miracle" product yet.

I have long hair also and this has helped me keep the ends of my hair strong and my hair healthy. Use a good salon product I use Redken's smooth down shea butter conditioner. when i am in the shower i wash my hair then apply conditioner using a large tooth comb to comb the conditioner through. then i pull my hair up on top of my head using a clip to hold it on top of my head so that it can not get wet again. then i bath, shave and use a sand stone on my feet. just give at least 5 to 10 min with conditioner on. the last thing i do before getting out of shower is rinse conditioner out of my hair. if my hair gets static during the day a dryer sheet helps or hairspray.

No leave-ins and heavy cream conditioners. Try something very light that rinses with no residue. Try Infusium 23.

run your hair under cold water. helps reduce split ends, keeps nautral oils in your hair, and reduces frizziness. but to moisture in, i suggest that put a dab of lotion in your hand, rub both hands together and run your fingers through your hair. this will help!

Rusk smoother leave in conditioner is great. It won't weigh your hair down and can be used everyday. It is also great to shave with!
