Please help me i have problem with my hair?

Dear friend

be sure th ekind and brand of shampoo is not important too much...fisrt do u colored them,do u make the wavy, any high light ,did u decolored that ...do u use and dry system for make them straghit ...these are what damage our hair....

if u did this then if u even use some shampoo it wont help till the damage hair grow and u cut them

but if not then u have to see from when this problem come to u maybe its cuz of bad nutrition ,or dont sleep good,smoking...and other reasons....these are in ur hand u can have a good nutrition,,,milk, meet ,,,fruits...and....

if non of them then i think its better u visit a dermatologist to see hows ur hair situation....

Please help me i have problem with my hair?

well I don't know a whole lot, but i know you cant change your shampoo everyday, you have to use it for awhile to realize its full effects...my sister really likes the Aussie brands...

Please help me i have problem with my hair?

first of all you need to stop changing your shampoo so much!! your hair can't even adjust to the ingredients if you don't give it a chance to. i love Aussie Mega shampoo and conditioner. it has a lot of natural stuff in in it. but Truth is Naturals alone probably won't get the results all by themselves. maybe you could be a bit more specific about your hair. is it long, curly, straight, thick, thin dyed, otherwise processed.... I'm sure you will get better answers of which product might be good for you

Please help me i have problem with my hair?

Pantene is fantastic, but it's really expensive. The other guy is right though - your hair is probably dry because you keep changing shampoos so often. Stick with one for a couple weeks. If it doesn't seem to be for you, THEN change.

Good luck ! :)

Please help me i have problem with my hair?

first of all look for a shampoo that is for your type of hair is your hair oily, dry etc. then do you have haircolor or do you use alot of product in your hair. to make it soft get a conditioning one don't get clarifying it strips out the color it's mainly for the times you have alot of build up. don't shampoo every day your not even supposed to wash your hair everyday but for the people like me that can't get in the shower without wetting your hair just use conditioner not shampoo.

Does my hair sound too boring?

I look around at my peers and i see them absolutely ruining their hair by streaking with mulitiple colours, bleaching it, straightening it and blowdrying it.

Then i look at myself, with my long(just above my elbows) natural, shiny, thick, healthy hair, and i think... Why is everyone doing this to their hair?

Is my hair too boring? Compared to theirs, of course it would be, but not necessarily in a good way. Their hair is way too fake and damaged... Am i right?

Does my hair sound too boring?

you dont have to dye your hair to be cool. yeah some people like dying their hair, others like straightening and stuff, and its their choice. i like dying my hair coz i get bored with it easily, but sumtimes i can go for months without doing anythin to it at all.

if you think your hair is boring, why not get it cut into a cool style, that way, it can be different, but you dont have to die it. or keep it the same length but add a few layers etc. do whatever you want to do. and they can do whatever they want

Does my hair sound too boring?

I don't know if i would call you hair boring. the cool thing now is to be yourself. so you not doing anything to your hair makes you different. thats cool

Does my hair sound too boring?

actually their hair is way too experimented with (which is very good) and deprived of its natural flamboyance(not damaged).

i think, yeah you are boring because you are scared shitless that when you get your hair done, you look ugly and when someone comments you on that, you no longer have your sure win, foolproof, very very good answer that:

"well, my hair is natural. i do not straighten it so it has waves, but thought it has waves, its natural [and SO boring] ! and it is not fake and damaged!"

Does my hair sound too boring?

yes u're right. why try to look like others? why not let others look like you?

Does my hair sound too boring?

Let me tell you this danjella. I tell you the truth. I love hair in general. Well head hair I mean... not the other stuff. I simple love it. I love LONG hair. LONG NATURAL hair. So basically I can tell you this. If it were up to me to chose whose hair was the prettiest. I would definitely say yours.

I am not sucking up - its just the truth.

Does my hair sound too boring?

if i were a girl,my best choice will b ur hair

Does my hair sound too boring?

Many people get their hair done and go too overdone. They dont use that great of products and get pulled into trying to get perfect hair.

There is a way for your hair not to look so "boring" and healthy at the same time. First of all, highlights do not have to be so extreme. You can go online and look at some highlights that would be beneficial to your facial features, skin, and "boringness." Or you could ask your stylist some of his/her opinions on what would look best for you. Also there are many products and shampoos you can use too. Heres some helpful tips and hints to still having healthy and naturally looking hair:

http://www.bodyandfitness.com/Beauty/Hea...

I color, straighten, and sometimes curl my hair. It still is natural, shiny, thick, and not boring looking. I use Tre Semme shampoo. It helps keep my hair shiny and thick. Also, I get my hair trimmed so there are no split ends which makes my hair look healthy as well. Also, I avoid putting my hair into ponytails because it supposedly damages your hair. Where there's a will, there's a way.

But if you want to keep your hair as is, then more power to you.

Good luck with your decision.

Does my hair sound too boring?

i agree with you

Does my hair sound too boring?

Personally, I would probably find your look more attractive than the others, but that's just me.

I like a little more natural look, without a lot of coloring.

Now, I'm sort of old and you sound sort of young, but I'll bet there are young guys who would have about the same tastes in girls as I would if I were your age.

Keep your hair clean and healthy looking and you'll do just fine. I like your approach.

Does my hair sound too boring?

your hair sounds gawjuzz!! i would love to have hair like that. dont ruin your hair keep it natural

Does my hair sound too boring?

keep as natural as possible just lil trims to prevent split ends is all ya need, that bleaching and dying only dries it out bad

Does my hair sound too boring?

Yeah your VERY right. I started dyeing my hair since 5th grade and cutting it and ruining it ever since. and now, its all jacked up. very dry and short. haha. and i go swimming every day so chlorine ruins it, of course i wear a cap but it still gets ruined. i really regret this. i wish i had your hair (;

Hair problems help!!!?

well you see mi hair falla a lot wen i brush it, and my hair is very thin so it does not looks like i have a lot im not totally like losing my hair, but i would like to have more whar can i do to have a longer fuller healthy hair.

O and on top of that i have split ends help.

Hair problems help!!!?

To get you hair thicker:

- Try volumising mouse or spray and apply to the roots of your hair.

- Foils also give your hair more volume and adds colour ;D

And maybe use some damage controll shampoo for thoses split ends.

^^ That will help you hair t be healthier.

Hope I Helped!

Hair problems help!!!?

For split ends you need to get your hair trimmed. As far as your hair thinning, what is your diet like? A poor diet can cause this.

Hair problems help!!!?

Try using a good shampoo and conditioner. De Lorenza Rejuvinate is a good one. When you are in the shower comb the conditioner through your and with a wide tooth comb and leave it in for a few minutes. Also try using a leave in conditioner. Redken anti snap is a great product. I was having the same sort of problem because my hair was just so unhealthy and now it is fuller and healthier

Hair problems help!!!?

Get your hair trimed for the split ends

as for it falling out it may be due to a poor diet or if you dye your hair alot

also learn how to spell "falla" is not a word

Hair problems help!!!?

most of my clients have the same complaint... my explaination, your dog and cat sheds when its hot., y wouldnt we? get a good trim too

Hair problems help!!!?

Hair can fall out if you don't eat enough proteins. Soy milk has a lot of protein, as do meat, nuts, cheese, and yogurt. Also, hot temperatures make my hair fall out some during the summer, so it could be seasonal.

As for split ends, just put a little conditioner on the ends, or go and get it trimmed. If you get your hair cut, ask the hairdresser. (Mine told me to drink more soymilk.)

Hair problems help!!!?

Try the brand Nioxin. They have preventative stuff and repairative stuff... oh also thats a line of hair products! :P

Hair problems help!!!?

well for one you should probably try using a detangler of some kind. so your not brushing through snarls. that'll cause hairloss in a heartbeat. %26lt;-- i have personal experience. also what is your diet like? are you on medication for anything? and are you taking vitamins? these are all things to consider when hair loss is evident. as for split ends... a simple trim of the ends will make that problem disappear. and to make your hair look fuller and healthier... try getting a haircut with lots of layers. it doesnt mean to cut it short or all off. just get a nice full layered hair cut. cutting it though will DEFFINATELY make it appear thicker and healthier.

good luck my dear. i hope ive helped in some way.

x0o =]

Hair problems help!!!?

do you straighten your hair a lot? if so this is probably why..just get a better straightner because the cheap ones reallyyy mess up your hair

Hair problems help!!!?

Take Daily, centrum vitamins, get this at the drug store. Eat lot's of eggs, cottage cheese. Use shampoo for colour treated hair (only) The others will dry your hair out! Do not brush wet hair! Get the split ends cut off every 4 weeks. If you can ,air dry your hair daily.

Hair problems help!!!?

u can`t have more once u lose it...but u can stop losing hair by using this shampoo.... REVALID...

i don`t know if u have it in ur pharmacys but it`s verry good i had the same problems...and i cut my hair 4 time zero...and still lost hair...

since i use this shampoo i don`t lose hair....and i use it cause i`m so laizy 2 prepaire my hair a mask :)

if u can`t find this shampoo there is something else to do

an egg+olive oil+honey=a hair mask...use it 2-3 times a week like a mask for 45-60 min.ur hair will be stronger and every months at least one time by month cut ur top hair even it`s split it or not...

Hair problems help!!!?

ok. this is watcha do. first u cut all the dead ends of so ur hair can look healthy and then u go 2 a hair specialist about ur thinning hair. see if they'll give u some hair thickening formula.

thats wat id do =)

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

How many years will this take to keep my hair healthy as it grows longer?

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

Many factors here. Some hair will never get that long, as it is replaced continually, so your chances of achieving long hair will depend on how fast your hair grows before your body decide to replace that strand.

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

it depends how tall you are and what size your butt is. short people have less hair to grow to hit their butt. if you havve a real saggy butt it might take a bit longer to hit the mark.

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

It has taken me 7 years to grow my hair from my Shoulders , to the Top of my Butt !

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

Everyones hair grows at a different rate...BUT!!! if you buy Nioxin ...your hair will grow soo much faster and a lot healthier. Nioxin also makes your nails grow. It's a great product if your trying to grow you hair longer!

How long would it take for my hair to grow from my collar to my butt?

i think it will take time almost two years coz it is difficult to care about our hair,i have a friend who her hair almost reaches her tigh.

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

I have an addiction to doing different things to my hair, I had really healthy hair which took me years to get. NOW I colored my hair, permed, relaxed it and it is fried. I have to use a flat iron or it would be a frizz ball in the morning. How can I treat my hair without having to cut it all off. it looks great after I flat iron it, but today (which was the first time I washed it since I had it straightend) it was coming out in broken little peices that looked like pubic hair!!! What can I use that will prevent any more damage! I am using leave in conditioner as well as the heat spray for the flat iron, any other sugguestions? OH and btw I will NEVER do this again. :)

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

Firstly, stop straightening it altogether. tie it back instead. condition it well, try not to colour it for a while. Trim it regularly. Drink water, take vitamins and sea kelp. You might need to have some length cut off it too initially to encourage growth and improve the appearance- oh and see a professional hair dresser to ask their opinion too. Good luck! x

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

do a deep conditioning treatment.

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

YEA TRY PENUT BUTTER, I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CR8AZY N ALL BUT ITS AN EFFECTIVE METHOD... ;O)

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

If I were you I would deep condition because of how it's fried.

Another thing I would do is not use any heat on it because you're just frying it more, even though you're using heat spray. it may look bad but I would rather have bad hair for a little while than no hair.

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

I would do deep conditioning treatments and wash you hair every 3-4 days and use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner

Over processed hair! Help!!!?

here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Beat up on an Egg: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, and whip the white thoroughly. Then add 1 tablespoon of water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Next, mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the egg mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, and then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up. Continue to rinse until all of the egg is washed away

Go for the Mayo: Heat up one half cup of mayonnaise until it becomes an oily, white goo and apply to dry, unwashed hair. Cover your hair with a plastic bag and leave on for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse and shampoo thoroughly.

Mix up a Tropical Treat: Mash one over-ripe banana (the blacker, the better) with a mushy, rotten avocado. Massage this exotic puree into your hair and leave on for at least 15 minutes before washing out…in the kitchen sink!).

Grab a Cold One. Beer can give your dry hair a healthy sheen. Before you blow-dry or style, use a pump bottle to spray brew onto your hair. The beer will leave your hair shiny and sleek and its odor will disappear quickly.

In addition to using these home remedies regularly to avoid dry hair, try the following preventative measures:

Avoid overshampooing. Shampooing can wash away the hair's protective oils, so try washing less often and use a mild shampoo labeled "for dry or damaged hair."

Condition regularly. Conditioners protect the hair’s cuticle layer from splitting from the shaft. Pick a conditioner that works well for your hair and use it after every shampoo.

Wear a hat. Too much exposure to wind and sun can leave hair thirsty.

Trim off split ends. The biggest problem caused by dry hair is split ends. Schedule a trim every six to eight weeks to keep fraying ends under control.

Ease up on the heat. Heat (in the form of blow dryers, as well as straightening and curling irons) can quickly dry out hair. Let your hair air dry occasionally. Try using plastic cylinder rollers to straighten hair by wrapping slightly moist hair under and around rollers for about 10 minutes. For curling, try using sponge rollers overnight or sleeping with moist braids.

Don't swim without a cap. Use a rubber cap to protect your hair from the damaging effects of chlorine. If you must forgo a cap, rub a spoonful of olive oil into your hair before diving in.

Another thing is also putting in lotion in your hair after you have gotten out of the shower and you can also put in lotion in hair after you have dried it.

Just rub some lotion on your finger tips and run it through your hair evenly.

Also, something that will help your hair is to take COLDshowers. What most people dont know is that if you take hot showers, the heat gets rid of the oils and other things that your hair needs to be kept healty and shiney.

Smash an avocado and mix with jojoba and peppermint oils. Make sure its really smooth you may want to put it in a food processor with a little water. Then apply some to your scalp and the rest on your hair. Massage for a minute or so then put on a plastic cap. Leave for 15 to 30 minutes. The avocado and jojoba oils will moisterize and the peppermint will stimulate your scalp to loosen any dead skin and open your pores. It will feel great. Your hair will grow better and won't be dry. :)

Hope this helps!

Has anyone tried sizta 2 sizta hair products?

I wanted to know before I purchase if this stuff really helps make your hair healthy

Has anyone tried sizta 2 sizta hair products?

Haven't tried it, but I try not to purchase products that spell words wrong. It makes me think less of the product.

I started only using products that contain only natural ingredients and my hair is in the best condition it has ever been in.

Has anyone tried sizta 2 sizta hair products?

Hey, I've been using these products and I love them. My hair went from hard and crunchy, to shiny and soft over nite! Report It

Does anyone have any suggestions for dry and brittle hair?

I highlight my hair (but with a non-bleach product) and I'm looking for something that I can do to help get the hair healthy. Any suggestions?

Does anyone have any suggestions for dry and brittle hair?

I would suggest a product by "Nexxus" called "Kerphix". If your hair is long use about a tablespoon if short use about a teaspoon of the product. Distribute the product evenly throughout your hair. Place a plastic bag over your hair. Heat a dampened old towel with water and heat in the microwave and turban the towel around your head. Rinse with cool water. Repeat weekly.

Do not condition your hair more than once a week if you do you run the risk of turning your hair to mush.

I've been a licensed cosmetologist for thirty years.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions for dry and brittle hair?

Use a moisturizing conditioner, or one specially formulated for dry, damaged or colored hair. Condition after every time your shampoo your hair, and leave the conditioner on the whole time you're in the shower. Wash it out at the last minute before you get out.

You can also get hair masks which are good for putting moisture back into your hair. If you can't afford those, soak your hair in olive oil (make sure it's the pure stuff), wrap saran wrap around your head and leave it there for a couple hours before washing it out. This might leave your hair looking a tiny bit oily for a day or two, but it really works to strengthen your hair.

Hope one of these works for you, they work for me but everyone's hair is different :)

Does anyone have any suggestions for dry and brittle hair?

2 shampoos have worked for me

garnie fruitis(i cant spell it)sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner

mane and tail shampoo and conditioner

Does anyone have any suggestions for dry and brittle hair?

You need to make sure you use a good conditioner every day. One from a salon that adds moisture ( the conditioners they sell in stores just don't work as well ). Sometimes it worth it to pay a liitle more, especially for your hair :-)

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

I have tried high quality shampoo and conditioner, as well as deep conditioners/repair serums and leave in's, but my hair still drys out and splits. I have to constantly get it trimmed (at least once a month), so my hair is always short. I would really love to have longer hair for once. Any suggestions on how to keep my hair healthy long enough to grow some length? Thanks!

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

Try olive oil, leave in at night.

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

I don't know if you use heat products on your hair (hair dryer, straightner, curling iron ect.) but that can cause damage. I also heard that certain hair ties cause damage.

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

trim your hair(and i mean ONLY a trim ie: NO more than 1cm) on the 2nd or 3rd day AFTER a FULL moon each month

(you may be sceptical but it helps your hair grow faster) and if anyone thinks im crazy - read up on the waning %26amp; waxing of the moon cycles.

also, dont overwash, overstyle with products, overdo it with the hairdryer etc

i purchase a really good product called:

KERASTASE Nutrititive - Advanced Repair Serum for Damaged Ends

its fantastic ..

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

Heat the mixture of coconut oil %26amp; olive oil. Massage is every alternate night. After massage take a trukish towel, dip it in luke warm water, slightly rinse the towel and give your hairs a warm treat.

This procedure will reduce your split ends, olive oil will nourish your dry hairs and coconut oil will help your hairs grow.

Cheers to hair healthy!!!!!!!!!

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

If you've tried pretty much everything as far as shampoos, conditioners and treatments are concerned, try Neways shampoo and conditioner. Their conditioner is soap free. It's strange when you first use it because it doesn't lather like normal shampoo. Within a week, you'll notice the difference.

Also, when you've shampooed your hair, towel dry it before putting the conditioner in. This means your hair is absorbing the conditioner, (it's not filled with water) and leave it in for 5 minutes. Once a week, put the conditioner in and then wrap your hair in glad wrap/plastic wrap. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse out.

Never brush your hair when it's wet. Comb it while the conditioner's in your hair.

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

Wash your hair and use shampoo and conditioner, never blow dry or use any form of heat on your hair. Let it air dry. Never brush or comb it wet. Wait until it is dry first. If you are still having this problem try not washing out all of the conditioner. Or mix it with 2 quarts of water and pour over your hair and then let air dry.

How do i repair and avoid split and dry ends on my hair?

You can't repair split ends, but you can make them less noticable and help prevent them.

After you shampoo and condition your hair, rinse with very cold water. It will close the ends of your hair and seal off the split ends for a temporary fix.

To help prevent them, use a bush meant for your hair type, try not to blow dry your hair very frequently and use elastic ponytail holder, not rubber bands.

Do you know any home remedies for dry damaged hair?

get regular trims and deep condition it once or twice a week. you can buy deep conditioners or you can make them your self. Start using products in your hair that put a heat shield around your hair and you should either use nexxus humectress shampoo and condish. or therma silk shampoo and condish. home remedies are mayonnaise hair masks and olive oil treatments. then use a wide tooth come in your hair and try to avoid brushing it when it's wet as it is more likely to get damaged.

You also need to eat healthy-hair foods so that your hair starts off as healthy as it can be. And you should make sure that your straightener is professional quality. A professional quality straightener produces more heat. More heat straightens your hair more quickly. Straightening your hair more quickly does less damage to the shaft.

I like to alternate Infusium 23 with Pantene. Stick Straight is also a good product if you're willing to spend a litte more, you can only get it in salons.

Here's a protein shampoo you can try:

I know it sounds yucky, but it's good for our hair!

Take a fresh egg and beat it in a bowl-like you're going to scramble it for cooking (but don't put anything else in it). Wet your hair, and rub half of the egg mixture in it, then rinse out, and repeat.

Want to make your hair really shiny? Use a couple tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a pitcher of water and use it as a final rinse.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Are there any products desgined to protect your hair from the chlorine or any tricks to keep your hair healthy in the summer??

Thanks so much!

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

rinse hair after swimming in pool. Then put club soda in it and let it soak for a minute, then wash it. This helps my blonde hair ot turn green in chlorine.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

There are special chlorine protectant shampoos. And you can wear a bathing cap (he he he) like I'm sure !

Also condition it alot because you are in water and sunshine which dry your hair out.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Wet your hair with regular water first. When you are done swimming, use a leave in conditioner! :o)

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

The http://www.vitaminshoppe.com carries swimmers shampoo and conditioner, if you have one in your area. If not, try a leave in conditioner.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

I have long hair and cannot afford the swimmer's hair texture that comes along with chlorinated pools.

I use olive oil--not so much that it drips, but enough so that it is spread thoroughly and will shampoo out when you shower.

Hope this helps.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

It would be so much easier if you just buzzed it all off.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Slather your hair with conditioner before you go swimming. Do not rinse it out. You can use any kind of conditioner, rather it be a leave in or the kind you rinse out. For more protection wear a swim cap over your hair after you put on the conditioner. After swimming wash your hair as you normally would then put in the conditioner again.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

warter cap.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Well if your blonde you're going to want to wash your right after swimming to protect your hair from turning green! If not, and your going to hate this, wear a hair net. One that covers the whole top of your head.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

your hair can only obsorb so much so if you wet it b4 going in or put a conditioner in b4 u swim it should be able 2 suck it up.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

I would suggest you just put on your normal conditioner before you go swimming just wet your hair and lather it in there and your set.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

okay redkins make this special product you put in your hair before swimming and then htere is special aloe shampoes that let you get it out, and if all else fails or your hair has already turned green you can get a perm put in even if it is just strait and it will turn the hair back blonde, and use lots of conditioner. Warning if hair turns green you can just wear lots of green shirts and say you did it that way purpously

make sure your hair is saturated before getting in the pool once you get out use Paul Mitchell Shampoo 3 (that stuff takes green from blonde hair out like nothing!) don't use that everyday just after swimming and then follow with a good conditioner like Super Charged. Or try Malibu's Swimmer's Kit its got everything shamppo conditioner and treatments....again only use when you have been swimming.

don't buy these items at target, walmart, etc only buy from a salon! some are stolen products that are water down or other items such as bleach may have been added. its called diverted product and its illegal and is not gaurnteed by the company if something happens to your hair or you!

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Well I use to refuse getting in pools becuz i was scared the chlorine would mess it up...

but then I got a seventeen magazine and it was about this girl and she was asking people what to do about chlorine getting in her hair.

Everyone said to just put conditioner in your hair before you get in the pool (it doesnt matter what conditioner) you dont have to get your hair wet before you put conditioner in ur hair....... but I tried it and it worked!!!!!!!! So now thats what I do!!!!

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

Get a special shampoo to remove the chlorine. If your hair has a buildup of chlorine now, put the shampoo on damp hair with plastic bag and let it sit for 30 minutes. As the other answers stated, wet your hair with tap water before entering the pool and put on conditioner before entering the water. Don't over use the shampoo, it does strip the hair. If your hair is blond you would need to use it every other shampooing if you swim everyday. If not blond then every 3rd or 4shampooing. If you don't swim often then use after each swimming.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

wear a swimming hat...looks ridiculous but does the trick :P also there are some products you can get at your local beauty store.

How can you protect your hair from chlorine in pools?

If you put leave in conditioner or any type of oil in your hair before you swim, please stay out of any pool I use! I am very sensitive to perfumes and most conditioners are loaded with scents.

That is really inconsiderate to clog up pool filters with hair gunk. If you are using your own pool in your own back yard, its your cleaning bill.

The solution (pun intended) is so easy. Just shampoo and rinse your hair with a solution of vinegar. About 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to 2 quarts of warm water.

Dab on a little balm such as Alberto VO5 after swimming. I found a hair balm with sunscreen in it a few years ago... Can't remember the name... try looking for a product like that. To use AFTER swimming.

Could your please help me because I am thinking about getting my hair cut and I don't know what

The thing is my hair is really thick but at the same think is also close to being soft. I have relaxer on my hair and I want to cut it all off. I was wondering what kind of products would enhance the curls that I already have natually. And also what can I use to keep my hair healthy

Could your please help me because I am thinking about getting my hair cut and I don't know what product to use

hair wax...its lighter then gel and it gives the hair more bounce

Could your please help me because I am thinking about getting my hair cut and I don't know what product to use

cut it into nice short do, and see what you think after a week of having it that way. Then you can decide on mousse or whatever after that.

No rush, and then you won't get a bunch of stuff you will only use one time.

If cutting it short, get a round brush and blow as you are rolling the hair around the brush toward or away from your face. This will make the curls do what you want them to do.

Could your please help me because I am thinking about getting my hair cut and I don't know what product to use

the shorter you cut your hair the shorter your curls will look so dont chop to much off personal expreince a good type of hair product is frizz-ease it's the best product i used so far

Is my hair permanently damaged?

No matter what i do i cant get my hair healthy. I just recently cut off most of the damage, i condition in the shower, i use leave in conditoner every day, and i deep condition every other day. It just feels like im fighting a loseing battle. I mean i havent dryed my hair in months! what i want to ask is, is there anything more i could be doing?

Is my hair permanently damaged?

u can massage your hair with wheatgerm oil

Is my hair permanently damaged?

Once hair has left the scalp, it is essentially dead. You need to keep hair health from the inside. Try eating better, and taking a daily vitamin. Your body is starving for proper nutrition, our hair and nails is the first sign of that starvation.

Is my hair permanently damaged?

all you can do is shave it off completely and let it grow back

remember to be gentle to your hair from now on

Is my hair permanently damaged?

Stop conditioning so much. You are weighing your hair down with all that stuff. Too much has the same effect as too little products.

Is my hair permanently damaged?

shave it all off...what i had to do...the wife loved it ...and i had a 2 foot ponytail/braid....good luck

Is my hair permanently damaged?

If either of your conditioners/leave in are protein treatments, they could be damaging your hair. Protein, while adding strength, can make the hair a bit brittle/inflexible. So, it's ok to do a protein treatment once a week, or so, but not more. Also, if your hair is not extremely oily, you should not be shampooing it every day. If it is extremely oily, concentrate on shampooing your scalp, and leave the ends alone. Ther are a myriad of other possibilities, so here are a few of my responses: Vitamin deficiency...make sure you're taking a good multivitamin/mineral supplement; If you're coloring it yourself, stop. See a Professional; Stop Obsessing...this could just be something you're overworked about. Go ahead and blowdry your hair. Just make sure you blow down the shaft/away from the scalp, so that the cuticle lies flat. Use a brush to help smooth it. You could be misinterpreting frizz as damage. Stop with the leave in conditioner, unless your stylist sold it to you. Most brands available at the drug/grocery store have tons of alcohol in them.

I hope this helps.

Is my hair permanently damaged?

You are over conditioning your hair, once a week for the deep conditioning. Go to a salon every 2 weeks it may help get you hair back healthy.

How can I grow my hair past my shoulders?& how many inches should it grow by July? & How lon

How can I grow my hair past my shoulders?%26amp; how many inches should it grow by July? %26amp; How long b4 i see results

The average hair growth rate is 1/2 in per month. Ways to grow your hair is to protect it by doing different types of styles that keep your hair up and don't allow it to rub against your clothes. You can also look into growth aids. Most of these are topical things that you apply to your scalp. Make sure you keep your hair mousturized. You may also want to stretch your relaxers out a bit. Make sure to always take care of your ends as well. For more information check out the growth section at http://forum.blackhairmedia.com

there are 3 stages of hair growth - angen, catagen and telegen.

the anagen is the actual growing stage of the hair and depending on how long tht stage last is how long ur hair will grow.

on average hair grows at 1/2 an inch per month. having a good diet can help but there is no miracle cure for making hair grow.

if u do want long hair tho, u can cheat and get hair extensions, and if u do, go for weave in 1s as glue/bond 1s cause damage and with sewn in 1s ur hair is braided and strips of hair sewn in, it means ur hair can have a "break" and can grow.

How can I grow my hair past my shoulders?%26amp; how many inches should it grow by July? %26amp; How long b4 i see results

hair grows about 1/2 a month. some grows faster some grows slower but on average thats about how much it grows. it should grow about 2 1/2 inches by July. eating healthy will help a lot though so yours will probably grow a little faster. also get it trimmed when neccesary. when you start getting split ends just get a trim. also try mane n' tail shampoo and conditioner. i use it and LOVE IT! it makes hair grow like a weed. it protects it and keeps it from breaking. it may sound wierd b/c it was originally made for horses but a lot of people use it and it works wonders. since i started using it my hair has grown like a half inch in less than a month. its great stuff. i hope you try it.

find a salon that has a program where you can got in there and get your hair cut and they will send it to lock of love for you sometimes for you donation they will cut your hair for free.

Where can I donate my hair when it grows long??

The truth is that Locks of Love does NOT give hairpieces to kids with cancer; it says so right on their website.

The truth is also that LoL has plenty of hair and often sells the hair--which means that when you dream of your hair on the head of a little kid, it may indeed be on Paris Hilton.

Frankly, if I were going to donate something for cancer patients, I'd find a small charity and give them the money.

I think it's incredibly deceptive of LoL to not work harder to defeat the image of the hair going to kids with cancer and to continue to ask for hair rather than saying "we have enough, please send money instead." Especially when you consider the number of people who grow their hair specifically for LoL, grooming it carefully while imagining the joy of the child who will receive it.

I'm amazed by the number of people who, after donating, learn about LoL's deceptive practices and are immediately incensed and wish they had their hair back.

Where can I donate my hair when it grows long??

Ask the person who cuts your hair. Tell her that you want to donate your hair when she cuts it. That's what i do every time i grow my hair out long enough to donate. If she doesn't do it, I'm pretty sure if you go onto the Locks of Love website, they can tell you how to send the braid and the requirements to their center.

:-)

Where can I donate my hair when it grows long??

Here, read the information on this site:

http://www.cancer.ca/ccs/internet/standa...

Where can I donate my hair when it grows long??

Try any places that makes wigs or hair salons. Most people donate their hair to cancer patients who is going through chemotherapy. Maybe try to contact the hospital or cancer foundations, I am sure they will surely help out and provide more information for your generous support.

Where can I donate my hair when it grows long??

i would NOT recommend going to locks of love. it is a borderline scam operation that has many limitations on who gets the wigs, and the majority of the time, they just sell your hair to other wig companies.

you can try "wigs for kids" http://www.wigsforkids.org/

this is their requirement for canadian donations:

Please help me with my hair problem:?

I have healthy looking hair but when I take a shower I have too much hair fall during the shower. I dont know how to solve this problem. Usually its just during the shower(while taking the shower) and I guess I dont really notice it after its all dried up. But I also have hair sticking on my clothes sometimes. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please help me with my hair problem:?

do you use a curling or flat iron? too much heat styling can make your hair weak.

also using to many chemicals can make your hair weak.

you can buy shampoos and stuff that are meant to make your hair stronger

good luck

Please help me with my hair problem:?

It is normal to lose hair daily..... Just make sure you rinse off really well.

Please help me with my hair problem:?

Do you wash your hair everyday? If so, that can be a cause of loosing hair. Wash your hair about 3-4 times a week to reduce loosing hair. If you have thin hair wash it about 2-3 times a week. Washing your hair too much can cause hair to fall out because of the pressure you are putting on it by scrubbing. Eventually you will loosen A LOT of hair from its roots and it will fall out. This may be the answer to your problem.

Please help me with my hair problem:?

why don't you go to a barber?Have someone cut your hair.you could go to Charyl's hair /barber shop. its on the strip. its next to Sunset Station.

Please help me with my hair problem:?

brush it all the time. in the morning, mid-day, and at night.... big difference when u do it!

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

Shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, hair mask etc. All the stuff you use, that keeps your hair healthy and shiny. I'm in dire need of new hair care, because my hair is beginning to die. Share your secrets please!

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

i love the pantene moisture renewal line. i use the shampoo and conditioner. leave the conditioner on for about 3 minutes and then rinse thouroughly. once a week i subsitute the conditioner for the pantene time renewal mask. l also use the pantene moisture renewal intensive restoriation treatment about twice a week. you can get all these at a local drugstore. it leaves my hair sooo shiny and moisturized, which is why i have no split ends!

p.s. another reason my hair is so shiny is because i used clairol natural instincts shiny happy. it's like a gloss i use once a month to add extra shine, but sometimes i noticed that without the gloss, my hair still has extreme shine and mositure :]]

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

i always use vidal sasoon conditional after wash hair.

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

The brand "Enjoy". I use their moisturizing shampoo and conditioner once a week and it's awesome. They are in the hot pink bottles - each of their shampoos come in different colors. Their spay-in leave in conditioner is great too for everyday use. You can even use it on your skin and it's great for after sun use.

They are expensive, but the shampoo and conditioner you only once a week, so it lasts forever.

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

The singular best product I've ever used is Dirt by Jonathan. I thought he was an arrogant jerk on his series, but my daughter ordered this product me on Sephora. It's $28.00 a tube, but lasts forever. A pea sized amount in your palm gives your hair a great shiny finish without weighing in down. You might also try one of the older hot oil treatments once a week, and try, if possible, not to wash your hair every day.

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

When I was a kid, Nexxus was all the rage. It was really good, but that was such a long time again so..... Now, I use anything from Yves Rocher. It's a French company, and their shampoos are really good and really inexpensive, too. Trust me; it's really good. Their shower gels and lipsticks are really good, too.

http://www.yvesrocherusa.com/control/cat...

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

I use the blue bottle Herbel Essences. I forgot what it's called, sorry, but it's design for moisturizing. Because of the shampoo and conditioner, I haven't deep conditioned my hair in a while and I get the same effect as if I was deep conditioning it and I frequently use my flat iron and curling iron. It leaves my hair silky soft.

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Use a teaspoon of every oil and honey,.... a little more if ur hair is long or a little less if ur hair is short

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed, fortify, reconstruct, moisturize, soften %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can also use a conditioner but get a light conditioner that wont wiegh ur hair down, becuz u can over condition, I use herbl essences "clean happy" conditioner.

When I do this at nite, I wake up, shampoo %26amp; condition, rinse and style as usual. Has worked for years

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

What are your top moisturizing hair products?

honey, if you're looking to save your hair, visit a salon with people and service that you trust. find a good recommendation from people around you, not just people from online. visit several salons and get their opinions on what kind of treatments they offer for your hair. talk to the stylists and share your story; when they see your hair, these professionals, they should know what to do.

and just to answer your question, these days, I use Changpo Wave Volume Up from the face shop (thefaceshop.com), but see, I doubt it if that's much help.

If you are indeed in dire need of hair care, people need to know exactly what your hair is, how it is now and its history. Because with all the products out there in the market, your hair type (african/asian/caucasian, etc.; blond/red/brown/black, etc.; is it originally straight/wavy/curly/kinky; did you have any rebonding/straightening/perming/colour treatments, is your hair a virgin?) matters.

Good luck on your quest.

African American: How long to grow tailbone length hair?

I am mixed with african american and asian.

My hair is about shoulder length now.

How long would it take me to grow my hair out to thick, tailbone length? How many years?

I have a regimen that I am following. Trims. Washing every AT LEAST once a week. Deep conditioning. Doing protein treatments. Massaging scalp w/oil. Low to no heat manipulation. Taking vitamins essential for healthy hair growth. Drinking 64 oz of water per day. Eating healthy. Exercising. Keeping hair in protective style, ie, big, thick plaits. etc. etc. So, with me properly taking care of my hair, how long do you think it will take to get to tailbone length?

Don't give dumb answers please.

-Third, right before you're done with your shower, turn on the cool or cold water; it closes the hair follicles and induces shine.

-If you blowdry, set your hair on the cool setting, at least toward the end of the session.

-Get some hair/nail vitamins. I'm stuck on these ones from PHYTO sold at Nordstrom and Sephora. They reallllly help.

-Last; buy ENJOY brand hair shine spray. This stuff is awesome!

I hope this helps!!

How do i make my hair shine.?

Use shampoo only every other day (this keeps the natural oils in your hair), and rinse in cool water. Try not to blow dry too much it will dry your hair out.

How do i make my hair shine.?

Biosilk helps and it doesn't weigh your hair down too much. As fas as healthy i'm not too sure cause you didn't say what kind of hair you have.

How do i make my hair shine.?

Try Paul Mitchell Skinny Serum, it is like 14.99 and it lasts forever, my hair was damaged from coloring and perming it, and this stuff really makes your hair silky. It adds a nice shine too, just don't use too much or it will look greasy.

How do i make my hair shine.?

Use Real Mayonaise on your hair. The "fatty" oils adhere to dry hair and keep it shiny for about 3 weeks.

If you want to use a shampoo I suggest the vive collection, then add a topical spray like Frizz ease. (Its good for dry ends too, not just "permed" hair).

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

My hair is weak, thin, and very damaged from heat and stuff. I know that you can't really repair split ends once they've formed, but once they're cut off what products would be good to keep my hair healthy?

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

I can't tell you enough good things about Pureology shampoos and conditioners. My own hair is curly, fine and easily damaged---plus I wash and blow-dry daily---and since I've started using Pureology, I haven't had one split end and my hair has more shine than it ever has.

These products are PRICEY, Hon, at $26 a bottle for either the shampoo or conditioner. But you need only half the product that you would if you bought any average products. I'm far from wealthy, but I'll use Pureology forever; well worth the investment, I promise!

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

I use Frizz-Ease shampoo and conditioner. Don't use so much conditioner because it makes hair look and feel limp and thin. You should get a trim every 2 months, especially if you damage it a lot. Also, prenatal pills are very good for growing hair and nails. (Don't worry, prenatal pills are basically vitamins). If you don't want to use that, you could also try Women's One A Day%26lt;%26lt;Those are also really good. Either way you want to go, take care of your hair. Good luck!

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

If your hair is really damaged, I would only use shampoo every other day. Just use conditioner. Anything that helps with damaged hair.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

You need a really good moisturing shampoo and conditioner, but not those from the drugstore or grocery store. You need to go to a beauty supply store or a salon and ask them what they recommend.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

Go to a salon and they will give you something to help

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

This is what i do to keep my hair healthy.

Wash it every other day to keep natural oils in your hair.

And I use redken, honestly salon products work a lot better, they dont weigh your hair down as much as others and they also help to strengthen and rejuvinate hair to its orignal state prior to dying and such. Be sure to buy a product that is right for your hair, if you want body, or want one for damaged hair etc.. Ask someone at the salon and or beauty supply store what is best for you.

Another thing is if you dont want to spend mega bucks on a salon shampoo and or conditioner buy it on ebay, it sounds silly, but its a great way to save money, buy the liter sized and you will save some cash.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

Use a very gentle moisturizing shampoo and only use it every other day so your hair has a chance to recover. Use a deep conditioner also. I like Garnier's length and strength stuff. If you'd prefer, there are also hair masks you can make at home which might help (just google some recipes) Also make sure to towel dry or only use your blow dryer on the lowest setting.

Good luck!

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

i have the same problem i used alot of supposed damage shampoos but none of em were all that good. now i use one thats fantastic my hair is shinier ,thicker looking, and im having less hair breaks. its called Dove Advanced Care intense Damage Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner. its really good.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

Well, I love Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine. I hadn't gone to the salon in about 2 years, and I consistently used this product. When I finally went to the salon, she praised how healthy my hair was despite not going to the salon for that amount of time. Anyway, use the shampoo, conditioner, the leave in conditioner and u can also do the deep conditioner every once in a while. Also, Nexus products are good. If you use a lot of heat on your hair, get the heat protexx by Nexus. It will protect your hair from the heat.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

Woot Woot!! Good job damage hair can only be cut off.. thats what happened to me. your hair gets really healthy when you get all the damage off and grows better. my hair is 100% more healthier now. but Salon brands are the best to keep hair good. and if you blow dry or use heat. use a heat protector.

What's a good shampoo for my damaged hair?

I use Dove Advanced Care Sheer Moisture shampoo and conditioner. Wash it every other day/night and let it air dry completly. When I get out of the shower I use TRESemme Anti-Frizz Secret Creme. Try to reduce or eliminate heat styling. Get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Brushing it alot also damages it, but don't stop brushing. Also don't brush it when it's wet or straigthen it when it's wet.

But the best way is to get it cut like most of it cut to about your shoulders to get rid of the damage. That's what I did at the begining of the month and my hair's SOOO much healthier now. I also stopped blow drying my hair after I got it cut and that helped it from getting damaged again. =)

Does anyone really use jalapeno hair tonic?

I read in a natural beauty book that some Mexican people use a homemade tonic of jalapenos to stimulate their scalps and keep their hair healthy. I want to know if people actually do this, and if it works....I think it sounds neat.

Does anyone really use jalapeno hair tonic?

I'm hispanic, and I've never done that before, much less heard about it.

Does anyone really use jalapeno hair tonic?

The idea that jalapenos can stimulate hair growth is pure folk lore and suspicious at best. However, there are numerous sites that espouse the validity of the idea and even have recipes! The following is one of the most common.

Jalapeno Hair Tonic

Jalapeno peppers can prevent hair loss by stimulating new hair growth, according to tradition in Mexico. After handling peppers, wash your hands well before touching your face or eyes--the juice can burn.

2 small or 1 large jalapeno

pepper

1/2 cup vodka

2 tablespoons Castor oil

Mince the jalapeno pepper and place in a small ceramic bowl. Pour the vodka over the peppers and allow mixture to sit for three or four days.

Strain the vodka and discard the peppers. Add the Castor oil to the pepper vodka, Store in a bottle.

Shake before using. Massage 1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon into your scalp before going to bed (it will cause a slight tingling sensation). Shampoo your hair as usual in the morning.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

there are shampoos that give fullness to your hair or help the damage in your hair...or it depends on the way you eat too, eat healthy, drink alot of water and natural fruit juices..they could help..or i guess you could take some vitamins

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

Something with body e.g. a shaggy perm. Not long and straight.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

Have you investigated whether the reason for this is connected to your diet ?

That is most commonly the answer !

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

back comb underneath a little!

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

get it cut short so it looks thicker and ask them to stack it in the back so it looks thick without having much of a hassle when your in a hurry.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

you should have it layered loads, or you could even have some extensions put in. my friend has awfully thin hair, you can see her scalp through it. and she had loads of extensions and it looks great, but they are expensive - the cheaper thing to do is have lots of layering and feathering.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

FIrst thing, examine your diet. Are you getting enough calcium? Enough water? Zinc? Oils? Make sure your body is healthy, then work on the hair...as it IS an extension of your body.

Second. Shampoo every other day, and always use conditioner.

Third. Get a cut that adds volume. Layers, layers, layers.

Fourth. Style it for volume. (And try to avoid using a lot of product, or a lot of heat treatments which would further damage the hair.) Air dry, add some mousse, underbrush it, and go.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

TRY EXTENTIONS; TRUST ME ,IT WON'T HURT TO TRY. ALOT OF FEMALES ARE DOING IT. YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED.THEY ARE JUST AFRAID TO ADMIT IT. IN THE MEANTIME, THERE IS THIS PRODUCT CALLED NIOXIN. IT WILL HELP YOU GROW THICKER HEALTHIER HAIR IN NO TIME. IT'S NOT THAT EXPENSIVE AT ALL. THERE'S THE HAIR AND SCALP CLEANSER ALONG WITH THE SCALP TREATMENT(CONDITIONER), AND IT ALSO HAS A FOLICLE BOOSTER THAT WILL STIMULATE YOUR FOLICLES TO GROW HAIR. IT'S REALLY GOOD.

My hair r so thin and small what hair style i should try to give them healthy look?

CUT IT SHORT AND MAKE SHAGGY BANGS OT JUST CURL IT OR MAKE IT A MESSY SHORT HAIRSTYLE

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

any tips?!

also any tips on keeping my hair healthy?!

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

Well the easy way is to tie your hair up. constantly pulling your hair in a pony tail will make it grow faster.

u can try looking for shampoos or creams to make it grow faster too

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

brushing and massaging stimulate blood flow to the hair shaft which is what is essential for hair growth.

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

The easy way to get your hair to grow faster is to eat foods that are high in protein. (Hair is made of protein. Hard keratin.)

Also something else that will help is to take prenatal vitamins.

I've seen hair grow twice as fast with them as without.

I've been a licensed cosmetologist for thirty years.

Hope this helps.

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

Hair growth on average is one half inch per month a little more in the summer a little less in the heart of winter. There are no products that will make you hair grow faster.

To get healthy hair you must have a healthy diet skip the junk foods and the sodas

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

Have you Dr. find a reason to put you on Minoxidil....mine did after a stroke and my hair grows FAST...not only my head but everywhere!!!!!!

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

i dont really think there's a way to make ur hair grow faster. but as for keeping it healthy u shouldnt use heated appliances, u shouldnt use additional products such as gel, mousse, etc., and u should trim it regularly to get rid of split ends. i think the way to keep ur hair healthy is to keep everything natural and simple. cuz u really dont need all of that gel and other gunk.

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

for fast hair growth and hair care just in

TiPS ON MAKEiNG MY HAiR GROW FASTER?!?!?!?

Try lush new shampoo bar, it stimulates hair growth and I am happy with the results. Check the source for more information and review.

WH\hat are some ways to keep your hair hydrated, soft, smooth, and silky?!?

Please Help. My hair gets dried out so easy and I just need some easy ways to keep my hair healthy without using a lot of product. I perfer to use all natural things. My hair is very dry and frizzy ya'll so please help!!

WH\hat are some ways to keep your hair hydrated, soft, smooth, and silky?!?

You basically just need a really good conditioner....if you like all natural products, Aveda has an awesome restructuring conditioner. You could also try a light weight leave in conditioner.

WH\hat are some ways to keep your hair hydrated, soft, smooth, and silky?!?

Using hot tools on hair (like blowdryers, hair straighteners, curlers, etc.) will dry hair out faster. If you don't already, I would use conditioner, because it helps for dry hair. Also, there are some over-the-counter hot-oil products that you can put on your hair and then wash out. Those help a lot, as well.

WH\hat are some ways to keep your hair hydrated, soft, smooth, and silky?!?

you can get natural conditioners at the body shoppe. i would recommend uing a conditioning treatment like once a week if you have curly hair. they make them for in shower use...you just apply it like a regular conditioner and leave it in for about three minutes and rinse it out.

How can I get shiny healthier looking hair?

I have dry hair and I can't never get it to look healthy no matter how much money I spent on products it just doesn't work. Please help me becuase Im going crazy and I will shave my head soon!!!!

How can I get shiny healthier looking hair?

I think you should try Garnier Fructis new Sleek %26amp; Shine products they are for frizzy, dry, and unmanegeble hair. They also do what the name says sleek %26amp; shine! I love them and I have kinky-curly hair. also eat healthy foods!

vitamin e is good for the hair

it is moisturizing

and vitamin a

is good for the scalp

and healthy hair growth

protein makes ur hair grow faster than anything else because

hair is basically made of protein

so

eat eggs.. and dairy products

yogurt, milk, soymilk, and tofu are great examples

citrus fruits are also good for the hair.. and seaweed has a lot of vitamin a. vitamin a can be found in leafy veggies and carrots, especially. it is important to drink enough water to keep ur hair hydrated. 8-10 glasses is suggested for healthy hair growth. also, iron plays an important role in maintaining and growing healthy hair. iron brings oxygen to the hair, allowing it to breathe like us basically

(not the same way obviously)

and so if u dont take enough iron.. ur hair will be starved of oxygen and lose its shine, luster, etc.

b vitamins are also great for the hair. salmon, coldwater fish, and sardines are great fish that contain many of the vitamins hair needs.

How can I get shiny healthier looking hair?

Try taking Kelp supplement

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?

i'm 21 years old, and i'm experiencing hair loss right now for about 2 months. I never had this problem before, and i doubt its cause is genetic since both of my parents have healthy hair still. when i run my fingers thru my hair in a shower, i see about 5-7 strands come off at a time and can definitly tell that it's not normal. I do have a itchy scalp, not to the extent where it keeps me from doing work, but cant help but scratch my head throughout the day.

i'm not 100% positive but my suspision is this hair wax that i started using about 2 months ago, called "Spiker". it's a glue-type product and super strong. i used the product for about 3 weeks, and stopped using it because i believed the wax was causing my hair loss. but my hair has continued to fall off since then.

can somebody please help me out with some possible causes and solutions? i currently dont have any health insurance, and it would be helpful to know what's going on with my hair,

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?

Everyone loses between 40 %26amp; 120 strands a day, depending on how much hair you have, your age %26amp; your hair's growth cycle. People with fine hair tend to have more of it %26amp; therefore will lose more of it than their thicker-haired sisters %26amp; brothers. Your hair also thins as you get older, particularly after menopause for women, but the thinning will stop %26amp; not continue as it will for men.

Here are some factors to take into consideration for common hairloss:

1. Seasonality. You'll lose the most hair in the fall -- typically November and December when hair reaches maturity in its growth cycle.

2. Diet. Hair loss can occur through poor dieting, tight ponytails, even with age.

3. Pregnancy Some women experience hair loss with pregnancy or as part of post-pregnancy hormonal changes. Other women experience hair loss when going on or off (usually off) the birth control pill.

4. Illness Sometimes it happens as a result of illness. Even stress, excessive weight loss, iron deficiency %26amp; thyroid problems can cause hair loss.

If you're really worried, ask your doctor. I hope that this helps~

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?

It probably is male pattern baldness. You get it from your mother's side of the family so look for it in your mother's brothers or your grandfather on that side. If your scalp just itches a little and there is no rash or broken skin then I doubt you have a scalp disease causing hair loss.

You could start using Rogaine (topical minoxidil) but a lot of gals think that bald men are sexy so don't worry too much. It will happen slowly.

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?

Dont start using all types of solutions...Go to a Specialist and find out for sure what the cause is...Good Luck

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?

There is some useful advice here.

I'm 21 and experiencing some major hair loss right now. HELP?
