Hair tests Question Please Give advice?

I am asking this question for my wife she wants to know if there is a place that you can Test Your Hair to see How Healthy your hair is? For example can she cut a little bit of her hair and send it to company to see how healthy her hair is? If so can you give us a link or phone number for a company that does this. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT DRUGS IN HER HAIR. IF ANYONE HAS ADVICE THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Honesty this is not really done by consumer or professional companies. This was an exercise in Cosmetology school for me almost two decades ago. I have never heard of such a thing again. Can she not run her hands through her hair and tell? Does it shine? No breakage? No excessive color? If she is wanting an answer because she wants to change a color or perm or straighten she should have a consultation in salon. The stylist will be able to help her.

Because I thought this was an interesting question, I did a google search. It appears that the vast majority of "hair analysis" companies are in business to check for toxic matters in your body. I'll include a link below that seems to want to restore your BODY to health, not necessarily just your hair.

a hairdresser can tell how healthy hair is by touching it, pulling it ect. Tell your wife to go in for a consult

I read in a "fitness" magazine that you can do a strand test to test the healthiness of your hair. What you do is place a strand of hair in a bowl of water and if your hair sinks to the bottom, then its unhealthy but if it floats on top then your hair is healthy.

I dont know about the company thing though.
