Both of mine are bi racial and they both have my hair (Im white) I did not need to anything different. Just wait till they are born. Its rare the baby will need the oils and things alot of black people do.

There's so many different types and grades or hair. It would be better to wait until the baby gets here and the hair that grows in after the age of one is pretty much close to the texture and grade it's going to be. Then. . . ask again. Good Luck!

Ponytails, pigtails, braids. That's all you need to know for any kid, any ethncity. It truly depends on the hair texture to determine "special treatment." If his/her hair is very dry, you might just want to do a little extra conditioning. Just try to use the least amount of hair products in your kid's hair for as long as possible because many can be very damaging to their fragile hair.
