My hair is really dry and frizzy. Any ideas for some hair products to help?

I have tried cutting my hair short and hoping it would grow back healthy, but that doesn't work, the hair just gets split ends right away anyway. I am looking for maybe some specific hair products I can get, that are relatively inexpensive, that would make my hair look healthy. Maybe a specific brand of hair conditioner or some leave in treatments. I am using Infusium 23 right now and it's helping a little bit, but I still need something to put over my hair, like a gel or something, to keep it from drying to look like a frizzy poodle!

try suave or dove and stay away from ne shampoo that has citrus in it.(ie. Orange smell or berry smell,if it says it has citrus in it). Also look for the kind made for your kind of hair, like fine hair or curly hair, something like that

you could use nature's help. Coconut Oil is very good it will make your hair shiny, soft and silky. but the smell of the oil is not really appealing.

well, when you wash your hair, use conditioner and leave it for 5 minutes. Also, you might want to use mousse after you wash your hair so it will leave it really manageable. If you have any more questions, contact me.

You should try Garnier-Fructis, ive used it before and it really helped for my hair. It should be great for you because Garnier-Fructis is made specifically for females who have frizzy and dry hair. All of their products are for frizzy and dry hair so you wont have to keep switching around, they have hairspray, gel,cream,ect,etc. Its inexpensive also. I got my stuff at CVS for under four dollars.

Trust me, I feel your pain! The best solution is to let your scalp's natural oils cover the hair. This is achieved by shampoo'ing a lot less. While in the shower, massage your scalp with your fingertips to stimulate the release of the natural oils. Also, try a deep conditioner such as Biolage Ultra Conditioning Balm, and don't rinse the conditioner out completely.

If you are in the US, I was using several different types of hair products, none of them cheap and decided to try Pantine brand Pro-V Restoratives. At a fraction of the price they do just as well and my hair looks great! I use the whole line, shampoo, conditioner and strengthing lotion. All three cost less than just 1 tube of the other stuff.

You should try a shampoo that is only for frizzy type of hair. Sometimes the most expensive shampoos don't help. Try to put a lot of hair conditioner so you don't get dry hair.

Use a salon shampoo/conditioner such as biolage. Try Frizz ease, if that's not strong enough they get a good hair wax or promenade.

I like Redkin anti- snap. It smells great and helps with breakage. My hairdresser told me to put a really good conditioner in my hair and leave it in over night at least once a week. you can put a shower cap on so it doesn't get everywhere. Also, john frieda has lots of anti-frizz stuff that work great. I like his Dream Cream. It has silkeners in it for making your hair appear less frizzy. It rocks. I live in east texas. It is always humid and my hair usually stays frizzy if I don't use anything. Talk to a hair professional on what they recommend. Also, Make sure you don't use products that have alcohol in them. They dry out your hair really fast. Sebastian products are awesome for not having alcohol

i think u dont know how to use a shampoo perfectly. pentine pro v should do the work. always use slightly warm water while shampoing. the elements of a shampoo works best with warm water. be gentle with the shapooing process. dont pour shampoo on ur hair, pour it on ur palm and then gently work through ur hair. dont use a product for 2 long if anythin bad occurs. good luck.

Forget all the products people have mentioned! The best thing ever is coconut oil. You can buy it from indian shops for, like 99p and it last ages. It comes solid in a glass jar, so melt it under a hot tap and then put it through dry hair. Leave it in overnight and wash out reeeeeeally thoroughly (probably need to do it twice), then admire your gorge hair! You won't need to use a conditioner, either.

I found that Pantene Conditioners work really well for me. And besides that, I use Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream - you can find it at http://beauty.com . It has olive oil that really helps to tame my frizzy hair. Some days I use Kerastase Nutritive Oleo-Relax - it's like a fine oil, goes on smooth, but doesn't weigh hair down. Lovely. I'm told that L'Oreal has a similar product - but I forgot what it's called.

you can give pantene a try, it had pretty good results in my case. also, try a natural hair mask: a spoon of olive oil plus a little honey and the yellow part of an egg (i don`t know what it`s called in english:P) leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash your hair normally. good luck!

you can try the Zero Frizz treatment pack( seperate tho) for that, put it on after u shower.... the Pantene Pro-V leave on conditioner( durong the shower... and one final thing...... Loreal Natures Beauty( in the shower)...it smells.... good.. and helps ur hair. I am doing this currently... and it realy helped. but... Stay away from the Hair Dryer.

someone already mentioned "frizz-ease" (that is the brand name) and it really does work.. get the hair serum and use it right after you get out of the shower on your wet hair.. i also sometimes smooth a really small amount over my hair once it is dry, but don't use too much when your hair is dry.. and make sure you just put it on the ends..

it makes your hair a lot softer and shinier.. and you can get it at CVS and it isn't too expensive
